Frequently asked questions

General questions first, then questions specific to each vehicle route, then claims.

CAREALL Digital Services explains motor insurance concepts, helps you identify the vehicle category and use that applies to your case, and prepares a structured enquiry so a conversation can continue on WhatsApp. CAREALL does not underwrite, issue, price or renew a policy, and does not approve or settle claims.

No. CAREALL Digital Services is a private business. This website is not a government website and is not an insurer.

The vehicle and how it is used decide which products can be discussed at all. Choosing the cover first would mean discussing options that may not apply to your vehicle, so the chooser asks for the vehicle and the use first.

No. Comprehensive or package is a policy structure that generally combines the third-party liability and own-damage sections. What is actually covered, and what is excluded, is set by the specific policy wording.

No. Add-ons are optional. An add-on applies only where the insurer offers it for your vehicle and cover, it is selected, it is charged and it is recorded on the policy.

None. You do not need to upload insurance documents or identity documents through this enquiry form. The applicable insurer or service process may request additional information later.

Your name, mobile number and preferred language are required. Email, a preferred contact date and a preferred contact time are optional. The form never asks for Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, an OTP, a password or any uploaded document.

The details you entered are used to prepare a WhatsApp message. WhatsApp opens with that message ready for you to review. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself, and the enquiry is not stored on a CAREALL server.

The contact window is 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. If you choose a preferred date and time slot, it is included in your enquiry as a preference. It is not a confirmed appointment.

Two-Wheeler questions

Personal or private use generally covers commuting, family and other permitted private purposes. A two-wheeler used for business purposes such as delivery work is classified differently and is not part of this route. Which classification applies depends on the vehicle's registration and how it is actually used, and it is confirmed by the applicable insurer, not by this website.

A liability-only structure is one of the available cover structures. Whether it is suitable depends on your circumstances, because it does not address loss of or damage to your own vehicle. The exact terms are set by the applicable policy wording and applicable law.

Some insurers offer add-ons on two-wheeler policies. Availability depends on the insurer, the product, the vehicle and the cover structure chosen. An add-on applies only where it is offered, selected, charged and recorded on the policy.

No. You do not need to upload insurance documents or identity documents through this enquiry form. The applicable insurer or service process may request additional information later.

Car questions

No. Comprehensive or package is a policy structure that generally combines the third-party liability and own-damage sections. What is actually covered, and what is excluded, is set by the specific policy wording.

Own damage is a separate section and, in some situations, can be arranged separately from the liability cover. Whether that is possible for your car depends on the applicable insurer, the product and the existing cover in force.

The Insured Declared Value is agreed with the applicable insurer under its own rules, taking into account the vehicle and its age. CAREALL does not set or guarantee it.

Personal use generally covers family, commuting and other permitted private purposes. Commercial use covers permitted business purposes such as a taxi, a cab or ride-hailing work. Which one applies depends on the car's registration and how it is actually used, and the classification is confirmed by the applicable insurer, not by this website.

No. You do not need to upload insurance documents or identity documents through this enquiry form. The applicable insurer or service process may request additional information later.

Commercial Vehicle questions

Because the subtype changes which products can be discussed at all. A goods carrier and a passenger-carrying vehicle are underwritten differently, so identifying the subtype first avoids discussing cover that does not apply.

The registration, permit and actual permitted use are generally relevant to what an insurer can offer and to how a claim is treated. Requirements vary by vehicle, state and insurer.

Generally no. A motor policy addresses the vehicle and liability arising from its use. Cover for the goods being carried is a separate subject with its own terms.

No. You do not need to upload insurance documents or identity documents through this enquiry form. The applicable insurer or service process may request additional information later.

Other / Special Vehicle questions

Not necessarily. Not every special vehicle category is supported. Whether a product is available depends on the specific vehicle, its recorded category, its actual use and the applicable insurer.

Describing the vehicle accurately, using the category recorded on the registration certificate and how the vehicle is actually used. That is what determines which products, if any, can be discussed.

No. You do not need to upload insurance documents or identity documents through this enquiry form. The applicable insurer or service process may request additional information later.

Claims

Claim questions

The applicable insurer decides, under the policy wording and applicable law. CAREALL does not approve, assess, settle or guarantee any claim.

Policies generally expect the insurer to be told about a loss without delay. The intimation channel and any timelines are set by the insurer and stated in the policy.

Cashless eligibility depends on the insurer, the network arrangement and the specific claim. It cannot be confirmed in advance by this website.

No. CAREALL does not collect claim documents through this website. Documents are provided to the applicable insurer through its own process.
